As my opinion why movie called gunjan saxena is a nation embarrassment

Makers of Gunjan saxena have trivialized military aviation. This is just a bad movie making with nonsensical and low iq.

Although the idea was more women to come into arm forces, but it did exactly opposite (can give substitute why should not join arm forces).

I, as person who reads the military history can tell its national embarrassment.

Before moves are although based on true event, but they are fictional and not used real names.

when we come this movie they used real character.

In this film showing of selection process called SSB (service selection board) depicts SSB as arbitrary, crude.

As i personally appeared for SSB selection, i can clearly tell you its completely different from the scenes that shown in movie. actually SSB conducted by panel of assessors, there will be physiologists who assist your suitability, Group task officer who assist the group tasks, and followed by interview conducted by interviewing officer. total evaluation takes for 5 days.

Shortlisted candidates after one or two months they are sent to medical examination.

After compiling the list across the four SSBs of Indian air force the final merit list is made of.

In the movie the selection process to indian air force was showed completely nonsense.

It bought insult to character, implies that pilots dont have good academic records.

In real, the flight commanders cannot arbitrarily cancel planned sorties for that need much explanation.

In this movie the character of gunjan saxena will leave the simply by dropping the letter, especially serving officers in udhampur air base cannot leave or go out of the base so easily by just dropping a letter,for this there will be a terrible consequences as soon as you leave the air force police will come behind you and cannot rejoin work simply.

Fact check :

• most of the social media platforms and new channel says that gunjan saxena received saurya chakra, but, the fact is she never received the saurya chakra.
• She received saurya veer by the organisation in up.
• She is not the first women to fly a helicopter, and during kargil war there are female pilots are also flying helicopters.
